Just had a jaunt on the Hythe to Dungeness railway as I am staying with relatives in Dymchurch for a week, not only is there a pea field being hit by birds directly behind their house but another we past through near Dymchurch on the train lifted about 300 plus off a patch of peas with another 100 plus sitting on power lines over it.

No gas guns or other scare'rs about that I could see so worth a go if they are likely to be your permission.

There are a couple of fields near Piper's caravan park (he also owns the fields), that he doesn't like being shot when its holiday season and one has peas in it this year.

Another one with peas has houses on two sides, including two large old peoples homes, that field is also left alone following past complaints.

No gas guns are out for the aforementioned reasons.

I can't think of any other pea fields near the railway line and near Dymchurch.

I hope you enjoyed the railway journey, on a nice day its good fun and quite unique. :good:

It was the only fields I saw with peas on the journey so you are probably right.

Yes the train ride was enjoyable, apart from my back teeth were floating by the time we got to Hythe, too much tea and a bumpy ride dont go :)
