I should have added that the shooting club would recommend him to apply for his own certificate, after a certain time. At least that's what the clay shooting club that I belonged to, used to do. HDAV Posted July 10, 2013 Report Share Posted July 10, 2013 Clay grounds (most) have an exemption allowing none cert holders to shoot (totally different set up to a rifle club) you just need to ring the club and ask some insist on an instructor (not a bad idea) other will allow a none SGC holder to go round others with a SGC holder, most will rent guns out for a round and sell carts.
