shoot and be safe
A pal of mine has asked if i can help him out during the week with the crow problem on his permission. I would be shooting on my own, as he can't do mid week. My question is:- Would you advise me to get the land owner/tenant, to sign a permission form for me to shoot? If I was to shoot with my pal then I can't see a problem,as I am his guest on his permission. Following a recent thread on hear, I don't want to come across as I am trying to poach his permission. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
stubby
I would at least want the farmer informed of my being there, perhaps even a phone call to ok it, prob not need a permission signed, as you say that might sound pushy, but you do need to cover your back
superspark
Its only fare to speak with the farmer so he knows its you who will be there should any problems acure that way every body is happy.
pigeonblasterian
As long as your mate has had a word with the farmer to clear it with him it should be ok. Though it would be a lot better if your mate introduced you to the farmer if he has not already done so. Then the farmer would know who you are and let him know which vehicle you will be arriving in and what you are planning on doing.
Kes
If he's a proper mate he wont mind and its safer all round. Explain how you feel. if he doesnt trust you enough to speak to the farmer and pass your name on - he's not much of a mate.
