gairlochbaldman
Just inherited a Pacific 366 reloader in 12 bore. Its working away fine and makes a nice cartridge. 24g 9's are great at skeet. Even managed to do some 24 g in 67mm with a roll turn over for my hammer gun. Now that was hard going as the turnover machine is hand operated and a blister soon developes. Shells are down to about half price so I can now shoot twice as much!!! Anyone else reload out there? Cheers
red_stag88
We (me and me old man) have an eight bore hammergun, the cartrages are bl**dy expensive, £25 a box, so naturally we reaload rounds for it. I havent done any shotgun rounds myself as it's not shot often, but i do quite a bit of rifle.
gairlochbaldman
The 8bore would be good for skeet!!!!!!! A bit more expensive though. I take it you're reloading brass shells. How do you finish them off. Anything in the 'old' department that you're not using. Don't have an old 8 bore cartridge.
red_stag88
We actually mainly use some very thick cardbord ones, second hand from industrial works, we do have a few brass ones though. 8 bore is the on shotgun we reload im afraid. High_gun
Yeah, I do a bit of reloading though can't say that it's any cheaper for me. Reckon it costs me about £10 extra per thousand. I only reload fibre wad so that may well account for it. Only do a few as a hobby though. Reload all sorts of hull although I find Blue Diamond amogst the best. Have an old 3 shot Manufrance Pump with full choke that takes them no probs. Since it's mainly for clays I've started doing some 9's. Otherwise whatever size I can get (between 7 & 9). Wondered about getting a roll turn over tool just for a change; how'd they come out and where can I get one other than eBay? Hi G.
