camo shotgun DIY

been looking at custom guns on Internet, don't know why just bored. and came across these American forums were they spray there old semi autos and to be honest they do a suburb job (well some of them) some of them even do there rifles in desert camo or whatever surrounding there in. I don't even own a semi auto so have no desire to do this but if I had a very old S/A or pump I would contemplate it

Yep I did something similar but I sprayed my wingmaster Matt black with a product called duracoat , search for it on here my topic should come up I think :)

I havent done it but I've thought about it.

 

Rather than camo I was simply going to refurb my old remmy 1100, bead blast the receiver and duracoat it mat black.

 

I'd go for something like duracoat rather than straight forward spray paint, it looks resin based (you need to add a hardener) which means it will be a vastly more durable finish than rattle can paint.

 

I've now decided I like the beaten up patina look of my remmy so shes staying as is :)

check out the camo kits from durocoat, comes with all you need including stencils for an easy life ;)

Aaaaahhhh mate some of them look amazing! The desert tan should be easy, maybe I shoul pick up a dirt cheap hatsan lol the navy camo looks top notch aswell
