dhumble5
Hi Just wanted to ask your advice on what guns you can have on a FAC Licence. I have joined a local shooting club to gain some firearms experience before I apply for my FAC I do have my shotgun certificate. Are you just allowed one firearm or more can you have a firearm and a shotgun ? Thanks in advance. Derek
Imperfection
It really depends on what you're FEO is like. Some people ask for 5 firearms on their initial grant and get them all while others might get 3. Just ask for how many you require. If you're a paid up full member theres no reason why you shouldnt be granted for whatever you want. xxx.Morph.xxx
I applied for 12 slots (9 guns 3 Moderators) on my 1st FAC application (Club shooting only) & got them all BUT I did have good reason (all calibers used in competitions at my club) , enough safe storage for them all & more (Including my shotguns) & a decent alarm/security system. The only issue now is affording to fill all the slots
HDAV
You can apply for anything you have a good reason to own, if applying for a target FAC you will need the facilities to shoot them membership of an indoor small bore club is not going to be good reason for a .50 cal,
