Cornishfowler
This is just a quick one. I know in Scotland they come from iceland and other regions of the north. But In cornwall have they also come from there? Also my local geese have only just grown up and flown off will they be back in 4 weeks? (start off the season)
Penelope
By local geese, I assume that you mean Canadas? They should stay in the same local'ish area, they don't tend to move around much. As for migratory fowl, they'll come from all points north and east.
steve0146
The Canadas here in Plymouth are dispersed all over the place at the moment in small groups. Feeding on stubble as it becomes available and roosting on various ponds. As the stubble gets ploughed in, they return to the estuary. Had around twenty fly over me tonight, but there a lot more come December time.
