RobC1990
What chokes would you use with steel shot? skeet & skeet Improved cylinder & improved cylinder just to give a big open pattern? Cheers.
Guest cookoff013
i`d certainly start with 2s then BBs. my first choke choice would be cyl, i`d pattern it first. then skeet, 1/4 would be the last i would try. what carts you got? fenboy
I would thin since the OP has posted in the clay pigeon section , then he is unlikely to want to be using 2s or BBs , for smaller pellets the chokes you normally use will be fine , for sporting that would normally be 1/4 and 1/2 or 1/4 and 1/4 if you struggle it may then be worth opening up but I very much doubt you will need to. RobC1990
The chokes I use are improved cylinder & modified Just wondered as it was steel it would be different but I dunno? So I was thinking about skeet and skeet ?
Guest cookoff013
just put in cyl and skeet. thats as open as you can get, with standard chokes.
fenboy
Choke will depend on targets , so its up to what you are comfortable with , 7s in steel will be fine through modified if you so wish.
RobC1990
The targets are around 35-40 yards max?
motty
The targets are around 35-40 yards max? I'd personally go for IC or Lm for that range.
