Does it need servicing.....

Hi guys

Looking for a bit of help. I have a HW 100 T which I bought brand new the Dec 2012 and have since put about 1200 pellets through it.

Now whilest it still fires well etc I feel the groups are not what they used to be. Also the pellet goes to a different place when at 140 bar as to when its at 200.

I took it to the range to night firing it at 25 meters. Started by putting 14 shots down. Groups were ok (gun/pellets not me) and at 140 bar (still well in the green) & 25 meters it was 3 mill dots up.

Then I filled it too 200 bar dead on and went for a second set of shots. Grouping was a little better but at 25 meters I was only 1 1/2 -2 mill dots up.

Now it does not sound a lot but I though for a regulated 9 month old gun this should not happen.

So do I need it serviced? Also while I clean the out sides I have never cleaned the barrel. Someone told me you don't need to as the lead cleans its self but after 1200 pellets do I need to clean it?

But this will not stop the air pressure issue.

Hope you guys can as I love the gun

Thanks

Michael

The HW100 is regulated and should be able to maintain a consistent velocity over a string of at least 60 shots-you might need to return the gun to your dealer and have the regulator checked-if you have a chrono then you could do this yourself-any repairs should be done under warranty.

I agree with the above. Dec 2012 until now is far too soon to need servicing. I think I didn't send mine for a service until about 7 years, and even then it was only because the Ftlbs had dropped right off. If you have a chrono then test it yourself, but if not then take it back to the shop and get the regulator checked.
