SuperGoose75
As I mentioned in another thread' about some Short footage my then girlfriend took of me doing some gunning in Canada' I have got it uploaded. I spent a morning' Shooting Ducks, mallard and Pintail and 7 guns limited out with 56 Ducks with me shooting more than my fair share. The next morning' 3 guns shot 12 canada's over Bigfoot decoys from layout Blinds. It was my first time Shooting Steel as we can still use lead in Ireland' and i was using a Remmi S/A.Not my preferred weapon as I like two barrels. My girlfriend got a bit of a surprise after the Goose shoot' as i had to Rings/bands made up before we traveled' and I had explained to her what bird ring was all about 'and i slipped the two bands onto one of the shot geese' and called her over to see them' they read "will you marry me..?" she is now my Wife I have to add 'it was a great and Enjoyable experience and i have an open invitation to go back anytime I want and I keep in touch with the friends I made' but I am in no hurry to Go back as it is not what Wildfowling to me is all about. It was all far to easy and comfortable.Give me a hard won brace of Wigeon on a Wet and gloomy winters morn/evening or a Single Grey Goose taking fairly on a windy morning/evening flight this side of the pond anytime. I was there peak migration time' and fields where full of specks/whitefronts,snowgeese but the Canadas are the ultimate prize goose with the guys i was shooting with. One spectacle that will live long in the memory' was The sight of migrating specks going over head' the Skein seemed to be miles long and the noise was deafening. Heres the clip' Enjoy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZrd6I64uZY
