Cranfield
I know nothing about deer stalking in the UK, but I should imagine anything is possible, as many Estates offer stalking facilities to overseas hunters. Deer stalking is not as freely available as bird shooting, mainly because the deer are not as freely available. Hopefully, someone who is more knowledgeable about deer stalking will respond. Highlander
JCB not sure I understand your post but here goes anyway...you cannot just turn up in the UK and hunt you will need to either go with a guide (hunter) or a (UK) friend. If you wish to bring your rifle into the UK you will need a temporary visitors permit which has to be arranged by a UK based sponsor. If you wish to borrow a rifle once in the UK then you don't need the permit as long as you are accompanied on authorised land 'occupied' by your sponsor. Although I don't believe it's a legal requirement you should also have some form of insurance specifically for shooting that's valid in the UK. Are you an experienced shooter or a novice? Do you hold any stalking qualifications? What exactly have you in mind?
