Chris Bb Posted September 7, 2013 Report Share Posted September 7, 2013 I got my dad a pair of high lace up boots with no zip made by hi Tec magnum and they have so far lasted him about 8 years just changing the laces, he loves them and says they are the best boots he has ever had, his don't have steel toe caps in though. I usually find the laces too short. To cure this, simply buy a suitable length of black paracord, heat shrink the ends and bingo! longer laces that never wear out. m3vert Posted September 8, 2013 Report Share Posted September 8, 2013 I use Tactical Swat boots, on my second pair. Last ones lasted 3yrs in which they were worn 18months for 12hrs a day! Composite toe cap, light weight ballistic nylon, no membrane as they are used in desert conditions. Superb, comfy boots.
