Highbird70 Posted September 10, 2013 Report Share Posted September 10, 2013 Gents, I wonder if anybody here, is knowledgeable on Ip cams and windows 7 set up, I have bought a Loftek Nexus 543, trying to set up everything but I can't connect the Ip cam to my LAN, with the ip cam there is a cd, with a setting up program called Bsearch.exe, this open fine, but I click search for device, will not find anything. What I done so far.... Connected the Ip cam via Ethernet cable to my router, (Router Huaei Talktalk) Connected my laptop to the router via Ethernet cable Lauched Bsearch.exe Updated all the driver of the laptop Rebooted everything still no joy, Do you have any advise please?? Highbird70 Posted September 10, 2013 Author Report Share Posted September 10, 2013 The problem is that Bsearch is not finding the cam on the LAN, so I cant alter the IP in case needs altering, also, I did disable the firewall Thank you in any case but I think the IP cam its faulty and not communicating with the router. Firewall running on your pc ? (Guessing - no expert) Have you entered the correct IP settings for the Camera, it needs to match the settings of your LAN.
