Goose man Posted September 12, 2013 Report Share Posted September 12, 2013 Iv got 2 OLT L-22 goose calls 1. I got 1 passed down to me off my dad many years ago . And just dropped on 1 on eBay brand new.. Would like to mess about with the new 1 a little bit to change the pitch ,(to a higher pitch. Does anyone no of anyone who can do this for me ... WelshAndy Posted September 12, 2013 Report Share Posted September 12, 2013 It should be quite an easy process if you already have another, split the call into the two pieces. So you'll have the reed exposed, remove the wedge then slide the reed up or down for differnt tones, then put the wedge back in. Mark the original positions of the reed, wedge and sound board before tinkering and mark the position where you end up satisfied with the tone. Just trail and error really.
