Tuning goose calls

It should be quite an easy process if you already have another, split the call into the two pieces. So you'll have the reed exposed, remove the wedge then slide the reed up or down for differnt tones, then put the wedge back in. You'll always have the second one to look at to put back to the original position.

Very easy to do as Welsh Andy says.

 

Mark the original positions of the reed, wedge and sound board before tinkering and mark the position where you end up satisfied with the tone.

 

Just trail and error really.

 

I wouldn't like to take an L22 apart Get a Haydels B81 they are pitched quite high and easier to take apart
