wannabe_keeper
What weather are you hoping for leading up to the season? Some keepers I speak to want it to turn cold and fast so that birds draw into the feeders and hold better and some want it to stay warmer but I couldn't really see the benefit I warm weather as there will surely be more natural food for birds to wander off and occupy themselves with? B725
We have always found them to stay closer when it's cold once they know where the feeders are.
r1steele
Can't beat a nice frosty/cold morning to get the birds hard onto the feed rides. I also don't mind it being a bit windy as the birds tend not to like the wind up there backsides making them easier to keep in the woods.
