Farmer's Markets

After going out to another two farms and getting knocked back another two times I'm trying to think of a different approach.

What do you lot think about farmer's markets?

Do farmers go to farmer's markets to sell or do they usually employ a sales person for it? Has anyone tried asking at these markets?

I was just at a farm the now and almost got chased off by the farmers wife, took a photo of my reg as I was leaving, felt like a criminal.

Smarten yersel up with a decent haircut and get a shave.. Looking like the redneck 'Robertson' on DD might be fine and dandy in Louisiana but won't go down well in Oxfords higher society. Remember what Jase said about Willie when he bought the Vineyard - ' Willie's got too much facial hair to move up the social ladder'..

Speak to you very soon son :):)

Its all worth a try mate I once picked up 200 acres from a guy I was talking to who was a fireman, turned out he also had a farm which he rented out but kept the shooting rights on.

You will find land owners in all sorts of places. Infact I have picked up a lot of land through talking to people in the pub.
