So I had a thread going " scope fogging up " at night on the quad

 

Condensation happens when moist/warm air cools down below the dewpoint, the water vapor in the air will then condensate against your lens (which has gotten colder).

You can keep your lenses warm with handwarmers, just attach them to your scope with a rubber band.
