I have now had the opportunity to look into this. I note with interest that my colleague Meurig e-mailed you with a very comprehensive reply to the points you raised on Friday afternoon.

 

He has promised me to get the results up on the BASC Wales web site within a couple of days, apart from being away form his office for several days last week, he does have some other rather pressing issues to deal with, that have, on this occasion, overtaken him. To be blunt the members he is assisting at the moment on these issues would probably he rather did this than write a review on the comp!

 

Having said that your points are still valid in principle and I am sure we will do much better next time.

Yes it would to be honest...

 

I accept that all did not go as well as it could have on the day, a couple of traps failed and there were some delays with refilling traps, and some of the scorers were perhaps a bit too strict on timings caused by the delays. But I am led to believe the competitors has a good shoot none the less.

 

The OP made some decent suggestions about adding a pool shoot and a raffle, which he thinks could be added to the day and this may well happen next year.

 

As I have said on this forum before, I honestly don't mind constructive criticism of how we could improve things, I am not do daft or arrogant to claim that we will always get everything right every time.
