90jb11 Posted September 27, 2013 Report Share Posted September 27, 2013 Hello I got my self a newer gun yesterday it's a midland gun company with a single trigger when I shoot it it fires both barrels when I pull the trigger twice as it should but when I come to pack it away and put my snap caps in it will only fire the first barrel any ideas on why Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Andy135 Posted September 27, 2013 Report Share Posted September 27, 2013 Trigger is most likely recoil reset. I.e. it needs the recoil of the first barrel to switch over to fire the second. When using snap cap,s fire the first barrel then whilst keeping the gun closed, jolt the butt downwards onto somewhere firm but padded, such as a carpeted floor. The jolt will switch the trigger over to the second barrel, allowing you to fire the second snap cap. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
