flash
we have a jack russel cocker spaniel cross bitch called izzy, which is coming up to 6 years old, at first she was good for temperment, but in the last year has become quite agressive to our older dog bella, a 14 year old weimeraner bitch. izzy will growl at bella if she tries to get onto the bed, or come up to anyone stroking izzy, its come to the point that izzy will attack bella for no aparent resobn other then trying to get on the bed. izzy isnt neautered and is on heat at the moment. will neautering here help with it or not, or is there another means to curing it. cheers flash
new to the flock
Flash, It sounds that Izzy has now become the dominate bitch and is showingthis to Bella. There is not alot you can do about this except add a few rules of your own to the whole situation. I would suggest that the one rule that you do add is that Izzy is in noway what so ever to lay a tooth on Bella. I would allow vocals but no teeth. Things should settle down as I am sure Bella is aware of what is happening. NTTF
