Gun Watch Posted October 4, 2013 Report Share Posted October 4, 2013 Winchester Urbeti £875 .260 Rem Rifle Private Seller Used - Excellent Condition chesham, Buckinghamshire Lever Action Description This is a near good condition Winchester Model 1873 lever-action rifle was a marked improvement over the Henry rifle. cowboy lever action rifle, and the first rifle widely carried in a cowboy-style saddle scabbard. This Model 1873 was recreated in the modern era by the Italian Company, Uberti. This Uberti Model 1873 Carbine has a 19 inch barrel and Forged steel colour case hardened frame. It has a Walnut stock and forend. The woodwork is in superb condition. The top of the barrel is stamped 'A. Uberti, Made in Italy' and the grip strap 'Model 1873'. The bottom of the grip strap is stamped with serial number and Uberti name (illustrated).
