bikemad24
Asked to go to a farm last night and reduce fox numbers. my and my spotter friend turned up and so did the farmer and TWO of his friends . Five of us in a l200 i was not impressed. first time out with my recorder on night vision but i could not get it set up properly because i had no room in the back. Managed to get another four last night. Dont know what it is but cant get past four in one night. very poor quality sorry. more vids coming soon. ThePestControllers
are you sure you could see what you were shooting at that gives night vision a bad name
bikemad24
read the title. it was a very poor image because my rifle was in the back of a pick up and i knocked the ir off true if you know what i mean. id spotted the fox with a gen 3 kite so knew were it was. i had a quick look through my scope and noticed i could still see the fox so went for the shot instead of re fitting the ir. what pains me more is that was the first of four foxes that night and a didn't press record on the other three. il have a lot better videos coming after the weekend. please keep looking for my posts. i hope you give a different reply next time. ThePestControllers
for a minute i thought you had used a digi sight and that was your only image to judge by so apologies from me. what recorder are you using. or next time if its poor image get your mate to illuminate the view with his spotter for a clearer recording image mind you he will need an ir illuminator on his kite. we use a hand held monocular to spot with it has an ir illuminator built in and if we want more illumination we add a bigger external ir to it if we need more distance. if theres out i can help you with give me a shout and i will help if i can. cheers Daz
simon6ppc
at least you got it pal,ive never video'd fox shooting yet,one day i would like to as the foxes i shoot at are moorland ones that seriously give you a run for your money,i think to do proper you have to spend some coin and to be honest i would sooner put it in a new scope ha ha,well done any way.cheers simon
bikemad24
belive it or not i shoot on moorland in north wales, a friend from work came with me last year and said he would NEVER do it again because it was to much hard work for one fox. I have wind mills on some of my perms and that makes it alot easier now because of the noise they make.
