dhumble5
Just wanted to know if any of you have one of these and your thoughts on them and what the four wheel drive is like.and if there is anything i should look out for.I am going to view one tomorrow it's a 2003 model 3 door 2.2 petrol I know a diesel would be better but I will only be using it weekends and doing max 60 mile a week in it. I think the price seems ok at £1200 possible movement on price full M.O.T 90.000 miles recent clutch. Thanks. Derek
Marty J
I'm on my fifth Frontera and I think they're great. The enigines are good, the four wheel drive is very good, I've never gotten stuck yet. The ride is comfortable and with the 2.2 you should get about 30 to the gallon. Main fault with the 'B's is the dashboard electrics, they often get dry joints on the circuit boards that affect the guages or rev counter. The other main problem is rust, chasis is usually ok but the bodywork will probably have the rot somewhere
Lord Geordie
I am looking at a LWB 2.2 petrol and drop a LPG system in with a tank between the chassis in the rear! I like the look of the fronty and the LWB would be more practical for me. It's either that of a Mondeo Estate.
