Having owned and used Helly Hansen, Musto base layers in the past I was pretty sceptical about something that 'only' costs about a 1/3rd of the others, so out of curiosity I had a punt and bought one. Apart from the fact it doesn't breathe as well as the the Helly Hansen Lifa stuff I can't fault it, I even had to take it off one day beating as I was too warm, so they are probably better suited to sitting up rather than yomping about. http://www.decathlon.co.uk/simple-warm-base-layer-id_8185607.html And no I am not connected with the company You always knock the chubby Essex boys, but our cholesterol and cellulite insulated bodies don't need these namby pamby "base layers". I think it is just a modern twist on a vest - and the last time I saw one of them was when my grandfather was wearing one I can't see you getting much solidarity from the Northern contingent either, they wear flip flops, shorts and football shirts all year round Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
