Can anyone recommend any good reloading manuals or other literature that would be useful for a complete novice? I'm interested in reloading for a centrefire rifle, but I'd like to read up on it first, rather than jumping straight in.

that is the most important step !

lyman 49th is a good start. but if your calibre is special, then a special manual will have exceptional data.

even better find someone to show you if you can, if you buy the rcbs kit I think it still comes with a manual. this kit is about the best there is to start with and hardly anything needs replacing as you progress
