Leicpigeon1990 Posted December 8, 2013 Report Share Posted December 8, 2013 Hello everyone just after abit of help, I have a sony camera with night shot all works well it's just my 501b with IR bulb in only lights upto around 15-20 yards at best. FalconFN Posted December 8, 2013 Report Share Posted December 8, 2013 I believe the ir leds are 850 mm but camcorders are best using slightly shorter wavelengths, 808 and 830 mm. I use a Sony cam and odicforce laser and can see out to 80 yards easily, slightly more if it is very clear (I spotted a badger last night at 100 yards) but the lasers do give a grainy image.
