snarepeg
Sounds like you have left. Out or put back wrong your o ring on your magazine tube, so not getting the gasses to eject, john
ChrisAsh
The sliding rings may bein the wrong way round,, have a look at www.gunspares.co.uk who have a remmy 1100 diagram and check they are in the right way. On mine there are two parts its easy to see whattwo parts fit togeter leaving the straight end fitted near the receiver and the concave end towards the gas ring You can also check both the o ring and the holes in the gasring that go through to the barrel Keep the magazine outer clean and dry but oil or grease the grove the bent fishtail spring runs along Sorry but dont have the correct part names to hand
Dbw1shrops
There all fine as I always take them and the o ring off every time after shooting it because they get so dirty ! Thanks so far though 👍

Elmer Fudd.
Is this any help? http://www.remingtonowners.com/topic113.html As above, it could be the extractor claw, I've had it happen. Dbw1shrops
You could be right about the claw because i dropped it on the floor when I slid it out of the gun ! But I've checked it and it don't look bent in any way or broken ??
