Livefast123
I've just sold my .223 and am going to put in for a 1 to 1 variation not to loose the slot. Question is, can I ask for a different calibre in the place of the .223 such as .44 Magnum as I fancy a new gallery rifle.
JonathanL
Yes, as long as you have 'good reason' to acquire that particular firearm then you will have no problems. J.

Redgum
As above, as long as you have 'good reason to possess'. You don't always get the correct answer from the FEO though, I was once told that I could not change an unused slot for fac air rifle for a 243 as calibre jump to large even thought the feo had approved the good reason for 243. Took it up with BASC and they said they would take action if I was charged again, I wasnt and no more was said.
Livefast123
Thanks, good reason is not an issue so I'll give the new variation form a try!
