mossberg-operator
So, not sure about the whole idea, Just thinking loud. It might be stupid! How about fitting a night scope on my shotgun to shoot roosting pigeons in trees for my desperate farmer?
JBS
I take it they are feral?
Paul taylor
Must be. Nobody would break the law and shoot any other type of bird with an artificial light source or other type of night vision scope would they.
mossberg-operator
Hi! Breaking the law? Don't want to do that. Why would it be breaking the law, pls? If those birds are wood pigeons for sure...
Paul taylor
Feral pigeons are the only bird you can shoot legally using the devices mentioned above mate.

Paul taylor
No problem Mr. There are a lot of specifics and conditions when it comes to shooting live quarry, if you Google general licence or visit the BASC Web site and look there all you need to know about which species you can shoot and in what situation it is legal will be found.
