This is what i'd do.

 

Imagine you've got the wind at your back and a horseshoe pattern in front, with the bottom of the 'U' closest to you. I'd put the flappers inside the 'U' at the bottom, facing you. You could try them close together or a few yards apart. If the wind is from the side, just do exactly the same, but your hide will now be at one of the sides of the 'U', and the flappers would be facing left (with wind from the left) or right ( if the wind is from your right).

I hope that makes sense.

Hi I have just purchased 2 TURBO flappers and was wondering if any1 has a picture or image drawing etc of where u would place them in ur decoy pattern as I have only used a magnet and wanna leave that behind as to heavy to carry with all the other gear

Look on Pigeon Shooting tips.

There is pinned section that shows numerous different decoy patterns.

A very useful tool.
