motty Posted January 15, 2014 Report Share Posted January 15, 2014 This is what i'd do. Imagine you've got the wind at your back and a horseshoe pattern in front, with the bottom of the 'U' closest to you. I'd put the flappers inside the 'U' at the bottom, facing you. You could try them close together or a few yards apart. If the wind is from the side, just do exactly the same, but your hide will now be at one of the sides of the 'U', and the flappers would be facing left (with wind from the left) or right ( if the wind is from your right).
