lewis11
Hi all, I'm going to get my bottle refilled over the weekend and I'm wondering does it need to be in test? If so, how do I know whether it is or not? It's a 3? Litre bottle if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance
Jim_gsxr1000
it should be stamped on the shoulder of the bottle and yes it needs to be in test or no one will fill it legally test lasts 5 years from the date of manufacture
NIGHT SEARCHER
Some Air Cylinders should not be stamped has it can cause a weak spot in the Cylinder. This is mostly on Fibreglass. Carbon fibre. And some Aluminium Cylinders. They should put a new date sticker on it at least. What Air valve is on your Cylinder if it is a surface only valve. It only needs testing every 5 years. If it has a under water valve on it it`s test is every 2 1/2 years.
