Guys,

the bloke that invented this has just walked into my shop with a slightly newer version of this case trimmer and we have just had it on the press for a bit of a play. I must say I was superbly impressed with its speed and function. You can decap, full neck size and trim a case in about 2 or 3 seconds. He recons to be able to sell them to compete with a normal case trimmer. Sorry the vids in German, but I am sure you are all clever enough to see whats going on, its worth waiting for the demo of the product at the end. What do you all think to it?

Interesting but apart from the de-capping it looks like it would be a lot simpler to use a Lee Zip trim which is very similar in operation but is click adjustable for depth.

 

The deluxe version also de-burrs and chamfers the case mouth at the same time.

Oh dear!! I know he tried to market this to Lee at some point, and they fobbed him off for various reasons. Looking at that it would appear they may have had away with his idea.
