Just sitting at Inverness airport after a couple of days up here for work Seen quite a few skeins about but on my way to the airport I passed a field of recently harvested carrots and there were plenty of Pinks on there having a good root through the straw rows ! Stocking up for the journey home I suppose !

I cant say I have noticed any difference in taste to when feeeding on other root crops, but their droppings are bright orange after feeding on carrots for a few days. However some of the Broadland pinks are grass feeders and to be taste better to me than the sugar beet feeders on the N Norfolk coast.

There's loads of Pinks grays and Canadian on a carrot field by me! Am shocked the land owner hasn't tryed to move them along! He's clearly happy to have them doing it as he's made no attempt to move them on, if he had I would of gone and knocked to offer my help ( I wouldn't mind some roast goose)
