Steven.thomson
Hi, I'm sure it's maybe frowned upon for my first post to be requesting ground, but I have totally exhausted all my friends and family for some permission. For years I had around 100 acres very local to myself a beautiful location just along the banks of the river dove used for wheat and barley cultivation. Ideal for pigeon in the summer the odd rabbit and a couple of Canadians every winter. Unfortunately the owner has passed away and the auctioned of to an unknown purchaser. There fore I am requesting any possible land owners or shooter who know of some ground I could use. I'm 26 held my shotgun licence for over 5 years work as an electrical mechanical engineer (could always exchange some shooting for electrical work) I'm keen safety conscious with plenty of experience delivered from my uncles (who shoot and live in Somerset, hence cannot help in this subject) I live in Stretton near Burton on Trent but am more than willing to travel to shoot. Any help would be more than appreciated. Thanks

Steven.thomson
Cheer pal, I'll be door knocking, people are very reluctant due to my age. But persistence will prevail!
filzee
Some people may be reluctant due to your age but you have a skill you could offer. Also offer to do some beating during the pheasant season that always helps. Im only 27 and have access to around 2000 acres now some of it was easy to get some wasn't but i have made sure i have never put any of it at risk. Hope you find something.
