dazzyboi
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/6287731.stm Does this mean a complete ban or an FAC jobby?
kip270
While little Andrew Morton's death was a tragic incident, the person responsible is locked up for life. Now while they are blaming the Air-rifle, it was the person using it which made this happen, without him being a complete **** the Air-rifle could not of killed Andrew on it's own. So what happens when some Drink driver/ joy rider/a person banned from driving kills a child, do they call for a ban on CARS Why not it's the same thing, without the idiot behind the wheel the car could not kill someone. To enforce a ban would be near on impossible, would all the law breaking numpties hand them in NO NO Again it would only be the law abiding citizens who would suffer again. Tommy Sheridan is only doing this to take the spot light off him for going to lap-dancing clubs and doing street girls and drugs and stuff, a total LOSER While i feel for the Morton family, a ban will not change anything, i am sorry to say

il cacciatore
This has been covered in the Airgunners forum but it seems to be gaining momentum now therefore I will be writing to my local MP asking what the labour party's stance is on this reminding them that these idiots that abuse airguns are in a minority and the majority of people use them safely. edit: If anyone else would like to do the same then maybe this will help you find the right person for a letter: http://www.theyworkforyou.com/
