darren m
Any one tell me are the internal and external chokes on hatsans compatable thanks
simonix
The newer style extended chokes have the thread at the bottom of the choke. The old style have it at the top. The old type is compatible with one of the beretta types (optima maybe?), but just to confuse, you can get internal versions of the "new" type too. Old and new Hatsan chokes won't fit due to the thread position differences. Edited February 26, 2014 by simonix

simonix
There is a great choke compatability chart on this forum somewhere. Albeit probably out of date by now. Sure it's a sticky on one of the subforums though.

landy george
I got a choke for my hatsan got it from shotgunchokes, it turns out mine must be a friday afternoon job. The thread was different, sent it back got a new one still didn't fit. The guy checked it fitted before he sent the second one out so my gun has a different pitch to everybody elses. darren m
ok thanks - so are there any internal chokes of any make that will fit the newer external choke barrel on the hatsan making them flush
landy george
Don't think so, they are either flush or external. Have a phone around, I'm sure they'll be able to make you something.
