alexf
Well folks the time has come to sell my disco due to needing a more economical car, will be sad to see her go but needs must. Land Rover Discovery 300Tdi ES 'M' 1995 Metallic Grey V5 Present MOT: October 2014 Tax : March 2014 Mileage : 211,000 ( Not sure if this is the original engine but it runs great) Leather Interior No Service History One Key £800 Located Wirral I've owned this since last October after buying it off here, bought it just to use on our shoot but ended up loving driving it so much have done about 4000 miles in her. Now I want to be as honest as possible about the car so here goes the engine is great no leaks or funny noises. A new prop shaft was fitted last week and I have the receipt this was £220 at the time I asked the garage to have a check of the car and he saw no issues. Before I bought it I was told the car had a new clutch, pressure plate and thrust fitted no issues there. Heaters and CD/MP3 Player works fine. Starts first time and never let me down. The car has had welding done to it on the usual places arches and new boot floor. Also the tires have plenty of life left in them with two being replaced before I bought it. The biggest issue I see is the gear box 1, 2 and 5 are fine however 3rd is a little tricky to get into but once you've got the knack its fine. Front passengers windows both work. Rear passenger window has come off its runner and rear drivers side doesn't work. Also the ABS light is on but haven't really had time to look at it. The rear wiper doesn't work. The car has twin sunroofs and only the rear works tilting but both don't leak. The roof lining had previously sagged and has been upholstered in tweed! Interior is quite tired. Please remember the car is nearly 20 years old the bodywork is in good condition though the plastic bumpers have been rattle canned black but look OK. Once washed the car looks great in the grey. This car would make a great off roader, farm or shooting truck. If anyone is interested more than happy for them to phone me and have a chat so I can go through everything. No time wasters. Viewings welcome. I need the car tomorrow so could go after tomorrow, if it doesn't go on here then on the bay it will go were there is currently an MOT failure similar to mine up for £700 so this is well priced. Any questions don't hesitate to PM me. Thanks Alex £800 Photos will be added today hopefully. Edited March 1, 2014 by alexf
