Mentalmac
Had a great weekend! Me and my partner got the train from Essex to sunny old Doncaster to meet Bullet1747 to pick up his old vitara! What a gent he is, went out of his way to pick us up from the station etc :-). Then drove my new old vitara 200 miles home - a bumpy and noisey experience but grinning from ear to ear. The misses couldn't understand my excitement but I love it so much more that our posher car. I then got up extra early and fired up the beast and headed out to see how she'll fare on my perm. Great, warms up quick and is great for getting in with muddy wellies! For my efforts I scored two rabbits, one was very large too, and came home still grinning and enjoyed the pleasant sunshine to butcher them for my rabbit tikka missala I had just now. With my rather helpful toddler saying "daddy, rabbit broken" all the while - but at least she wasn't upset by it (normal viewing for her nowadays). Thanks again bullet1747, good to meet you and your old vitara will be much loved.

Mentalmac
looks great mate welcome to the vitara owners club colin Thanks :-). It's awesome - much better offroad than my shogun was, seems to skip over the too of the mid rather than just burying itself. And I love how basic they are - really good fun to zoom about in

colin lad
as i use it for towing the caravan on our holls i have semi's on i dare not put full off roaders on as when we take the 300+ mile drive to cornwall each year i fear it wouldn't be the best option colin
