Cyber
When you zeroed the rifle at 30yards, you will have had the parralax adjustement on 30 aswell. Say for instance you then move to a target 45 yards away, you will find the image will not be very clear atall. you then turn the parralax untill the image comes into sharp focus. Look at the parralax ring and you should have a rough estimate as to the distance of the target. Hope that helps mate

Hope that helps mate wind the zoom to max. look through the scope and wind the pa ring until the cross hairs becomes in focus with the target, then read off the range. you wont have time to do this while hunting so my advice is set the pa to 30yds and the zoom to 6x and the sight picture will be clear from up close to infinity. Hunter
Which means his PX adjustable scope is pointless You wont get any kind of good reading unless your scope is zoomed in to the max. It takes a while to get used to this system, but it can be quite effective.
Cyber
yeah, sorry about that, i forgot to mention that the zoom has to be maxed out I find that it works ok, but it isn't something I would desperately seek if I was purchasing a new scope.
