Theskyfox
The Weihrauch* moderator is the best I've ever seen, or heard rather. Can fully recommend it. I actually bought an adaptor to fit mine to the end of my S410. -Andrew

chrisjpainter
be aware mate, if you've got a standard length barrel, it's going to be stupidly long! I dithered about which to get, and got the VC model in the end, because you don't need to buy another silencer. The R10 silencer is basically the same as the VC, so as silencers go, they're top notch. There are some good reviews on www.airriflereviews.co.uk, but the best for silenceing are the HW one, followed by the BSA silencer. In reality what I did was by the R10 VC gun, then sold the silencer and bought a Huub shroud. It looks brilliant, isn't longer than a javelin and is quieter than any of the screw on silencers i'v ever come across! If, however you're fixed on the shrouded barrel, then The R10 is the one to go for; it looks a lot better than the HW with little discernible volume change Scope wise, I went for a 3-12 Sidewinder. great scope. however if you are tempted by anything with a side wheel, be warned the wheel sits right where the magazine goes, which means you can't get the magazine out when it's on. I don't bother with the wheel, but the scope is superb Edited March 17, 2014 by chrisjpainter
Theskyfox
As above. I've also got the Hawke sidewinder 3-12x50. (I've also got a Hawke Sidewinder 8-32x56 on the other gun). Great glass, good reticles and top notch customer service. Recently had one replaced for free after the illuminated reticule failed! -Andrew

Mcloving
Hi Craig I would seriously consider using a 'swift stubby' after a quick demonstration at the local gun range I was sold, I could not hear the difference between it and the best all round weihrauch silencer, it's a bit shorter too ! Great silencer
