Thunderbird
I've had a powerful craving for them recently, just love them. Has anyone here grown them successfully in their greenhouse?
rimfire4969
Never tried, but all the avocados I have seen growing are on trees or large bushes.
rimfire4969
Never tried, but all the avocados I have seen growing are on trees or large bushes. Just remembered one of my favourites. Crusty white long roll, hot crispy bacon and very ripe avocado. That's my lunch sorted.
aris
Used to have one growing outside in garden in a previous life (and country). They can be prolific, but take at least 7 years to mature and bear fruit. The trees are fairly large too - will be one huge greenhouse! Perhaps there are some hybrid varieties now which are smaller and mature faster.
