You should'nt need any more letters from the farmers. What will help you, is if the land that you intend shooting on, has been passed for the caliber you are asking for. If not, then the FEO will have to assess the ground to see if it's suitable. If, however, you have an 'open' certificate, then you will be okay. Steve. remmy1100 Posted March 31, 2014 Report Share Posted March 31, 2014 if the lands cleared for calibre required there should be no need to contact farmer again unless to confirm you have permission to shoot target species,northumbria are usually excellent with variations did mine for 223 in a day .
