solz
Hey all, i have owned an benelli m2 comfortech for over a year now and am very pleased with it, however the only problem is the LOP is to short for me (even if i pay for the longer recoil pad) so have always used a slip on recoil pad, this has been ok for the last year but ive always wanted to gun to fit me without the slip o recoil pad, so after much research i found a company who makes a product that you ca use which allows you to fit any aftermarket recoil pad (as the main problem is the comfortech stock, though reduces recoil (IMO) doesn't allow you to simply attach any other recoil pads other than the ones made by benelli themselves (they aren't cheap either) So my question is what aftermarket recoil pad should i get? i may also need spacers with the pad, ive looked at limbsaver and they make one that suppose to fit the benellis (product number 10401) (one of there "pre fit" pad rather than a "grind to fit" pad) however cat seem to buy it online and unsure whos stocks them in the UK. my second question is how much and how easy are the "grind to fit" pad to apply? Hope some one can help solz Edited April 2, 2014 by solz
kent
Grind to fit are easy enough to do once you have done a few but very messy in the workshop. Personally I should make a stock extension and fit longer screws etc.
chesterse
You can get a kickeez pre fit pad from Brownells in the States and they also sell Benelli pre fit spacers if the stock is still not long enough.

Markbrowning
http://www.bagnallandkirkwood.com They stock a lot of Benelli stuff and should have a limbsaver pad in stock I would think. If you have a ebay/paypal.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LimbSaver-Precision-Fit-Recoil-Pad-for-Gun-Model-Benelli-12-ga-Non-Tac-SBE-I-/400684179369?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5d4aa35fa9 £26 including postage from USA When I had my Mossberg 500 I got my limbsaver from the states shipped over very cheaply too. Didn't get stung with import tax's or anything.

If you type in Benelli spacer in their search box it should come up with it, likewise kickeez prefit pads.
solz
well i finally got round to putting on a spacer and the limbsaver recoil pad, i havent done the best looking of jobs but the LOP is finally right for me however i reckon with the spacer (1" hard rubber stock spacer) and the limbsaver recoil pad it recoils more ad the barrel jumps more :S

solz
will post one up tomorrow, its not flushing fitting (pad and spacer) but the biggest worry to me is the fact im sure it kicks and jumps (muzzle rise) more
