2sledge Posted April 5, 2014 Report Share Posted April 5, 2014 sunbathing maybe last rat of season 7lb brown hare not realy shooting eska my small female harris hawk 4y old hunting weight 1lb 14oz she is a top hunting bird with no fear whats so ever its not the size of the bird that counts its the size of the fight in the bird total so far this season all prey taken in season rabbits 50 appox mainly daytime not done much lamping with her this year or this would be twice as many tree rats 22 hen phesant 12 cock phesant 3 magpie 2 coot / moorhen 5 duck 7 brown hare 4 belive it or not largest just over 7lb not bad for a bird just 2lb 14oz bird see photo its not the size of the bird that counts its the size of the fight in the bird i have heard people say my birds this big it hunts a 2lb 6oz etc etc then turns its nose up at a buck rabbit or get a tree rat on the back and not a head bind and end up getting bit Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
