Bettinsoli v hatsan chokes

Morning all

I am after a little bit of information in relation to chokes.

I have a 1989 bettinsoli classic (or that's what I have been told it is struggling to find any more information out)

I have also just purchased an early hatsan escort, reliably informed with the berretta mobil chokes.

The hatsan didn't come with any chokes at all so I am on the look out for some.

I thought I would take a look at the chokes in the bettinsoli. The appear to be the same as the hatsan, I have tried to put one in the hatsan and it does appear to fit however I have not screwed or all the way in just in case before I asked the question.

Can anyone confirm they are the same chokes??

I also have a mossberg 9200, the chokes for that look totally different in terms of thread placement. I take it I am current they are different?

Thank you in advance

I have some Teague Beretta mobil extended ones that I use with my Bettinsoli, Hatsan and 686 Beretta.

Part exchanged the 686 but kept the Teagues still to use in the other 2 guns.

My new Beretta has different chokes, but at least it came with a full set of fancy ones.

I can only speak from my experience but I have never had an issue using mobil fitment ones - plus you only need to carry one set and it does not matter which gun you pick up.

I now have to carry 2 sets, but love my new gun so can live with that.

ATB.

Mine is an old 1989 bettinsoli classic it only came with 1/2 and 1/4 chokes. I have just picked up a mk1 hatsan as states above, which didn't come with any chokes. I thought I would tue one out of the bettinsoli and like I said, it seems to fit. Screws in nicely albeit I didn't screw it in all the way just in case.

From what people are saying it's looking like they are the same which suits me. Esp when my extended chokes arrive

Re hatsan theres a uk company that makes extended ported chokes for them there about 35/40 pounds ish google . Shotgun chokes uk they come up and they are excellent to deal with ive one in my semi and its brilliant .

At 45 yards I get 112 pellets in a 30 inch circle # 3in no 3 / 36 gr game bore . And its nicely spread no big holes odd one stuck to gather but probably the cartridge fault .
