scutt
My mate and I have had this shoot for over ten years and we have always had a eye on how to add or change the way we use our ground so today we started to put a new pen in a plantation that was only small trees and white grasses when we first came we used to rough shoot it but as its now matured to the extent that we will have to cut a few rides through it in the hope we can get the birds up and out of the plantation in the way we have seen birds showing in the last couple of seasons. So we think releasing birds from this new pen into the plantation will now be a new drive for the coming season.
Ferretboy111
Nice one, let's hope the trees are big enough for them to roost in as they are seriously fussy when they get past the poult stage in choosing roosting trees! A
scutt
should be ok as we have a mature wood at one end of the plantation not a lot of ground cover but the trees look good for roosting
TR1
Need to be careful that you are not driving birds away from home. Works best if you can fed them out to some other area and drive them back. Good luck
