It might be better now the economy is picking up as there may be more trade stands and to be honest I hope it is as I only live ten minutes away. hedge Posted April 21, 2014 Report Share Posted April 21, 2014 I went today and had a great day. Initially overcast but cleared up to be a lovely day. I wouldn't say it was a massive show, but reasonably amount of stands although wasn't shopping so not sure what deals were to be had. Was there mainly for SWMBO to give her 15m black lab a try out on some of the retrieves and spent half of the day watching some excellent dogs working and some not so good ones! The Jousting Knights were good and the Horse Man with Birds of Prey was amazing - almost worth the entry fee alone. Catering was pricey but you expect that - took own food and only paid for teas. So for me and the other half, we had a great day but I suppose it depends what you wanted to get out of it (I know it was freezing yesterday and numbers were down).
