Ferretboy111
Had a few hours of ferreting with my friend yesterday, it was hard work. only 2 rabbits bolted, the rest were dug down to, and i couldnt think why this was... perfect warrens in sandy soil, total silence, drop ferrets in,, nothing. Anyway, one of my jills from last year has proven herself to be an ace ferret, along with the usuals. Manged 6 but should of had 8 and some in they bolted. 3 of which were pregnant, but luckily no nests, babies wont be long before they are out in full. Not bad for 3 hours work, still at the lower end of the bag for usual. Alex

cloudwalker
We were out this weekend and had 2 very different days. On Saturday the rabbits bolted well and we only had to dig for 2 of them. We didn't hit any nests either. Finished the day with 31. On Sunday we went to a different farm. The rabbits wouldn't bolt and we hit nests. One with 1/4 grown rabbits in it. Ended the day with 18 and had to dig for half of them Strange the difference between the 2 locations. They are only about 8 miles apart as well!
