daz181
I'm thinking of buying sako Quad - Varmint - Synthetic, but understand there is problem with ejecting rounds from .22 version. anyone know if they have fixed this problem yet? cheers d. jeffo223
As far as I am aware it's all been sorted but my dad's got a quad with a 22lr barrel and he's never had a problem but he's only used one type of bullet and I think bullet type did effect it . I just use a 17hmr barrel on my sako quad and its spot on, good choice in rifle. Paul

jeffo223
My dad uses cci, don't know what Winchester are like. If you Google the "problem" you will see it's some that can be sorted yourself or by a gun Smith very easily. paul

tjm160
I too have a Sako Quad, previously used solely with HMR barrel and now with .22 barrel. Initially I tried all the major brands and then settled on Eley subs. I've not had a single issue with .22 case extraction.
Bewsher500
Believe new ones have been fixed at factory Older ones can be sorted by yourself, it's a doddle I use win subs no issue Cci segs were tight though Very accurate
