There are'nt that many serious co2 powered rifles about i dont think, the only two i can think of are the rabbit stopper and airmagnum.

I havent had any experiance with the rabbit stopper to be honest, but if you look in the buy/swap section of this forum, i've got an airmagnum up for sale if your interested.

im selling it because i've just got a new falcon.

Have you used Co2 before? the drawbacks are:

Co2 changes with temperature (basically just the same as a pcp does but more noticeably)

You have to buy the bulbs to power it, although i guess with a pcp you still have to fork out for a divers bottle or stirrup pump.

You need a decent silencer because the muzzle crack can be substantial without one.

The Pro's are that it handles and feels like a pcp for a lot less outlay.

Hope this helps buddy :lookaround:

The best CO2 on the market is the Air Arms S4**.

Now I know what you are going to say but thinking about it carefully it does have CO2, it is just mixed with all the other gases that come in the air that you pump into it!

Unless you REALLY want a CO2 gun I wouldn't bother, they are fun to own but like a Citreon 2CV the novelty will soon wear off.
